ANTISTATIC RUG AND ELECTROCONDUCTIVE PILE YARN FOR COMPOSING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic rug using electroconductive pile yarns for carpets designed to sufficiently exhibit electroconductive performances possessed by electroconductive fibers without requiring much time and labor for production. SOLUTION: This antistatic rug 10 is obtained by picking electroconductive pile yarns 14 in a fiber substrate 12 and integrating a backing layer 15 with the back surface. A metal foil 20 prepared by picking the electroconductive pile yarns 14 is interposed between the backing layer 15 and the fiber substrate 12 to make the respective electroconductive pile yarns 14 electrically conductive.
