PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plating equipment of a rotary type which obviates the occurrence of rubbing flaws and chipping at brittle objects to be plated. SOLUTION: A disk-shaped rotary member 7 which is rotationally driven in a plating bath is provided with plural independent housing sections 13 which house the objects to be plated by one piece each and the feeding ports of these housing sections 13 are covered with attachable and detachable cap members 14. The rotary member 7 side and cap member 14 side of the respective housing sections 13 are respectively provided with windows 22 and 23 allowing the passage of a plating solution, by which the collision of the objects to be plated against each other in the plating solution is averted. The brittle objects to be plated are thus well subjected to plating without the occurrence of the rubbing flaws and chipping in the brittle objects to be plated.
