PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal for a packing case which does not require a heating treatment or the like, has lightweight, and in which condensation hardly occurs. SOLUTION: In the pedestal for a packing case in which a clearance for inserting a lifting pawl comprising a transportation means is provided on a bottom face of a rectangular base plate 11 in a plane view, a plurality of unit blocks 12-20 having the same height are substantially arranged symmetrically in the right and left, and back and forth, and bottoms of each rows of unit blocks 12-20 are connected by laying plates 21-23 having the same thickness, the base plate 11, unit blocks 12-20 and laying plates 21-23 comprise a synthetic timber and/or hard synthetic resin material which are/is manufactured with the heating treatment.
