<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive useless substance removing device capable of efficiently removing C, CO, HC, NOx or the like from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine vehicle. SOLUTION: The useless substance removing device 2 is connected to the exhaust pipe 1 of the diesel engine vehicle and the exhaust gas of the diesel engine vehicle is discharged through the useless substance removing device 2. The useless substance removing device 2 has a plurality of filters 11, 12 and 13 arranged in its cylindrical housing 3 along the exhaust gas flow direction. The respective filters 11, 12 and 13 are reticulated filters comprising an ion exchange resin and the meshes thereof are largest on the side of the filter 11 and smallest on the side of the filter 13. The exhaust gas flows in the useless substance removing device 2 to be cleaned during the passage through the filters 11, 12 and 13.</p> |
