PURPOSE: A process of preparing a green laver food product by mixing a green laver, seasoning liquid, rice flour or the like is provided. Whereby, the food product has an appearance and texture resembling that of a fried glutinous rice cake(kangjeong, Korean native name) and can be effectively used as dessert after a meal for children, patients or examinees or a side dish for wine. CONSTITUTION: A green laver is washed to remove foreign materials and salt, hydrated, mixed with seasoning liquid and rice flour, compressed into the shape of a plate, dried at 40 to 50deg.C for 6 to 8hr in the first stage, and cut to a specified size, followed by drying at 70 to 80deg.C for 2 to 3hr in the second stage. In the process, one selected from the group consisting of sesame, peanut, dried shrimp and red pepper powder or a mixture thereof is additionally added thereto.
