PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge the attitude of which can be stabilized in the case of placing it outside of an image forming device main body in the case of performing jam processing and the image carrier, etc., of which is prevented from being damaged and to provide an electrophotographic image forming device. SOLUTION: This device has an electrophotographic photoreceptor 7, an electrophotographic photoreceptor supporting frame 11d for supporting the photoreceptor 7, an openable and closable shutter member 12 for protecting the photoreceptor 7 and multiple protrusions 10f3 formed on the lower surface of the process cartridge for regulation in a direction vertical to a mounting direction in the case of mounting the cartridge into the electrophotographic image forming device main body. A line 104 connecting the lowest part 101 of the protrusions on the lower surface of the process cartridge and the lowest part 100 of the frame body 11d is on a side lower than the member 12.
