PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily generate a full telephone number by enabling to input the a country name or of an area and enabling to specify a country code or area code from the country name or the area name. SOLUTION: When a user makes an international call or domestic call, the user utters the country name or area name. Then, the country name or area name is recognized, and a country code or area code corresponding to the recognized country name or area name is retrieved. The retrieved country code or area code is displayed on a telephone number input screen, and at the same time is stored in a memory. Thereafter, the user utters the numbers of the number which follows the country name or area name in succession, the numbers are recognized and the recognized numbers are displayed on the telephone number input screen, and at the same time, are temporarily stored in the memory. When all the numbers are inputted and the user utters the instruction to start a call, a full telephone number for making a call is generated based on the information stored in the memory, and then the full number is notified to the mobile telephone to instruct it to start a call. |
