<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even integrated circuits operating with different internal clock frequencies to use the same boot program by dynamically calculating the internal clock frequencies of the integrated circuits. SOLUTION: A CPU 190 executes a boot program 111 stored in an instruction memory 110, and sets 1 in a register 140. Then, selectors 180 and 181 select signals outputted from an oscillator 130 oscillating with an already known fixed frequency, and supply those signals to a timer 150. The timer 150 counts the number of internal clocks of this integrated circuit 100 supplied from a clock generator 1100 since the rising of this signal until the falling of this signal.</p> |
