PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device with a non-contact, man-magnetic and one component developing method using a developing roll for minute closed electric field that can adapt to a wide print, where carrying of toner is stable, with a simple constitution and the cost is low. SOLUTION: In the developing roll 12 used for the developing device, a dielectric part 15 is formed by having a conductive substrate 16 formed in a cylinder state or in a hollow cylinder state, having the surface made smooth and coating with dielectric ink by the printing method. A toner feeding roll 11 is formed by a fur roll such as a fur brush. Developing bias where DC component and AC component are superposed is used when developing. |
