Closing follower for a two-leaf, self-closing door having a stationary leaf and a moving leaf which are moved by door closers comprises a locking mechanism (13) arranged in a guide rail (12) for locking the moving leaf. A pivot arm (8, 9) attached to each door closer is connected at one end to a sliding part (10) movably arranged in the guide rail. The door closers are concealed in the upper region within the stationary door and the moving door, and the guide rail is concealed above the door leafs within a door frame. A pushing element (19) is connected at one end to an operating pin triggering the locking mechanism and at the other end to an intermediate part (14) spring-loaded on the sliding part of the stationary door. Preferred Features: A spring (21) and a plunger (22) horizontally arranged in the intermediate part press through an opening onto the sliding part.
