The pressurized container has an outer sealing layer (3) of plastic, and a pressure-absorbing layer around the plastic layer. The sealing layer consists of at least two pref. shell-shaped components, which are connected sealed. The pressure-absorbent layer is of traction-proof tightening straps (6) of steel. The ends of the open straps end in a tension ring. The sealing layer has imprints for flat accommodation of the tensioning straps. The sealing layer has inner stiffener ribs esp. in the area of the flange with heating channels.
