PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation photographing apparatus in which a waiting mode can be appropriately set. SOLUTION: As the waiting modes are separately set to each of photographing parts 4 and 6 by a controlling device 2 in accordance with situations where non-use time exceeds a specified time in each of the photographing parts 4 and 6, for example, by early setting the waiting mode for the photographing part 6 with high possibility of being not used, saving of electric power and prolonging the life of expendables for a CPU, etc., are attempted and in relation to the photographing part 4 being used now or with high possibility of being used, by setting no waiting mode, it is possible to rapidly perform photographing.
