SOLUTION: At least two specific points P1 and P2 for creating specific images which can be distinguished from other portions in MR images are provided in such a manner as to be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of an invasive device 21. Based on two- or three-dimensional images 31, 32, and 33 reconfigured through normal I-MRI, the specific points P1 and P2 of the invasive device 21 inserted into a subject are detected and the direction of a straight line interconnecting the two specific points is determined. The position and the three-dimensional entry direction of the invasive device are detected to track the invasive device without losing sight of the device, while enhancing the real-time property of a navigation image.
