<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter that can surely transmit packet data by preventing the occurrence of overruns even when the memory capacity of a reception buffer is minimized. SOLUTION: This data transmitter is provided with a transmission buffer control means 3 composed of a signal generating means, read-out data counter, written data counter, driving means which outputs a drive signal when the counted values of read-out data and written data are coincident with each other, number-of-packet counter which counts the difference between the numbers of written packets and read-out packets and outputs a number-of-packet signal, and AND computing means which computes the AND of the drive signal supplied from the driving means and the number-of-packet signal supplied for the number-of-packet counter and drives the signal generating means based on the computed result. When the count value NW of the written data counter 6 and that NR of the read-out data counter 5 are coincident with each other and written packet data DPI exist, this data transmitter start to read out the next packet data DPO.</p> |
