PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management method for portable telephones where a data storage center connected to a network stores data stored in a portable telephone and a user can utilize the storage data via the network by using a communication terminal. SOLUTION: The portable telephone terminal able to transmit data via the network transmits its stored data to the data storage center via the network and the communication terminal connected to the network can utilize the data stored in the data storage center. The data storage center can develop business by collecting a data storage charge or a data utility charge from users.
