PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which can be made small-sized by decreasing the number of components and a portable information terminal device which is equipped with it. SOLUTION: The lighting device has light source units 170 and 180 and a light guide part 140 which is arranged corresponding to a 1st information part 110 and a 2nd information part 120 so as to guide the lights from the light source units to the 1st and 2nd information parts. Here, the light source units are each composed of a single light source unit and the light guide part has a light diffusing means 142 for diffusing the lights from the light source units to the entire surface of the light guide part.
