PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the occurrence of a mistake at downloading to a server by generating contents information of a source in an authoring processing. SOLUTION: An authoring device 10 is provided with an analog to digital converter means 33 that applies analog to digital conversion to an input source such as audio and video, a data compression means 34 that receives the input source subjected to analog to digital conversion or digital conversion, a data attachment means 37 that receives compressed data or a compressed input source, and an information generating means 36 that generates contents information with respect to the input source. Since even a list of the contents information of the input source is simultaneously stored with respect to the authoring processing up to the compression of the input source, the contents information generating work at downloading to an AV server subjected to temporal and location restrictions can entirely be avoided. |
