PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device using an elastic film as an envelope, preventing explosion or ignition caused by the increase of temperature inside the envelope, with sharply improved safety. SOLUTION: For the electrochemical device having a lamination body of which, a positive electrode and a negative electrode are laminated through a separator, a dummy electrode which does no have a film containing electrode activation material at least on the surface facing the outermost electrode, is arranged at least at the position facing the outermost layer of the lamination body, and the dummy electrode and an electrode, to be mated with the outermost electrode of the lamination body, are electrically connected. |
