SUBSTANCE: method is realized through simultaneous delivery of components to special afterburning chamber during motion of stage in atmospheric descent leg at discharge of combustion product not into bottom part of stage. First component residues are fed to afterburning chamber at excess of oxidizer and at the moment of its completion propellant combustion process is shifted to use of air delivered to afterburning chamber from excessive pressure zone by deceleration of incoming flow, for example from bottom part of rocket. EFFECT: possibility of destructing remaining components of propellant before drop of usable stages on earth, thus reducing contamination of with toxic agents. 1 dwg
