PURPOSE: Provided are a fire retardant polyolefin foam composition which has improved fire retardancy and mechanical property, and which is eco-friendly, and which efficiently uses a tire that is conventionally wasted, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The fire retardant polyolefin foam composition comprises a nitrile rubber as resin component; at least one additives selected from the group consisting of fire retardant, crosslinking agent, plasticizer, foaming agent, filler, humectant, anti-aging agent, lubricant, and stabilizer, as typical additive. The resin component consists of 50-100 parts by weight of nitrile rubber, 10-30 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride or chlorinated polyethylene, 0-100 parts by weight of ethylene-propylene copolymer, and 1-50 part by weight of GTR(tire powder). The fire retardant consists of 10-300 part by weight of Al(OH)3, 0-300 parts by weight of Mg(OH)2, 0-50 parts by weight of Sb2O3, 0-20 parts by weight of loess, and 0-50 parts by weight of fire retardant based on phosphorus(H-205 or H-201). The composition comprises 100-350 parts by weight of fire retardant with respect to 100 parts by weight of the resin component. |
