PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the exposure processing capability of an image exposing device while suppressing a raise in cost. SOLUTION: The image exposing device is provided with a beam scanning means BS which forms an exposure image on a photosensitive material by making a scan with a light beam LB for exposure according to image information whose exposure quantity is set, pixel by pixel, and the beam scanning means BS is so constituted that the scanning speed of the light beam LB for exposure can be varied and set according to the number of pixels used for exposure in the scanning direction of the image to be exposed.
