PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for battery block excellent in balance between heat resistance, mechanical strength and water vapor barrier property, and to provide a battery block obtained by using the above composition. SOLUTION: This resin composition for battery block comprises (A) a polyolefin resin, (B) a polyphenylene ether-based resin and (C) a terpene resin; wherein the weight ratio A/B is (95:5) to (20:80) and amount of the component C is 0.1-10 pt(s).wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a total of the components A and B.
