PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material which is free from a texture blushing and shows high color developing sensitivity and image shelf stability, especially outstanding heat and moisture resistance and plasticizer resistance and the like as well as a recording sheet. SOLUTION: The recording material contains at least one kind each of a color developing dye, a chemical compound (1) and a chemical compound (2). Also the recording sheet has a recording material layer formed of the recording material. [In formulae (1) and (2), R<1> and R<2> are a hydrogen atom or the like; (a) is an integer of 1 to 6; (b) is 0, 1 or 2; and m<1> and m<2> are an integer of 0 or 1 to 3. R<3> and R<4> are a halogen atom and the like; m<3> and m<4> are an integer of 0, 1 or 2; M is CO or NR<5> CO (R<5> is a hydrogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group). X and Y are a hydrocarbon group and the like; R<6> to R<11> are a halogen atom and the like; n<1> to n<6> are independently an integer of 0 or 1 to 4; and (c) is an integer of 0 or 1 to 10.]. |
