<p>The pipe connecting device has a pipe union which has a fluid passage and a connecting element (8) for connecting the pipe union to a pipe wall (7) which encloses a volume carrying a fluid. A space to accommodate the fluid-carrying pipe (3) is defined between the two sides (18,19) of a holder (5), with locking protrusions (24,25) provided on the free ends of the sides of the holder. The side of the holder are held on a connecting piece (17) which has a mounting hole for the pipe union. An independent claim is included for a procedure for the connecting of a main line to a pipe carrying fluid entailing fitting of the holder to the fluid pipe, forming a connecting hole in the pipe wall at a point which aligns with the mounting hole, pressing in of the pipe union into the mounting hole, and connecting the pipe union to the pipe wall.</p> |
