PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve braking feeling when a front wheel is singly braked in an antilock brake control method for a motorcycle capable of performing antilock control of wheel brakes for the front wheel and a rear wheel independently from each other by computing acceleration and deceleration of the front and rear wheels based on wheel speeds detected by wheel speed sensors for the front wheel and the rear wheel, respectively, and starting pressure increase control when the computed acceleration and deceleration are converted from a positive value to a negative value. SOLUTION: When antilock control of the wheel brake for the front wheel while the front wheel is singly braked is performed, a liquid pressure of the wheel brake for the front wheel is increased and controlled even before computed acceleration and deceleration ACL of the front wheel is converted from the positive value to the negative value in a scope that the computed acceleration and deceleration ACL of the front wheel is the positive value and a differential value WDD of the computed acceleration and deceleration ACL of the front wheel is beyond a positive set differential value WDDO.
