PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift a mode to a refrigerating chamber cooling mode after a mode is temporarily shifted to a completely open mode upon shifting to the refrigerator cooling mode in a freezing refrigerator for individually cooling a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber, and completely use the performance of a refrigerating chamber evaporator and efficiently cool the refrigerating chamber when the mode enters the refrigerating chamber cooling mode. SOLUTION: When a selector valve 18 is switched to the refrigerating chamber cooling mode by a switching control means 60, a switching control is performed for shifting to the refrigerating chamber cooling mode after temporarily passing the completely open mode. Thus, after a refrigerant is supplied to a refrigerating chamber cooling system, an independent cooling operation of the refrigerating chamber is started. The generation of a dry-up state in which the refrigerant of the refrigerating chamber cooling system is zero upon entering the refrigerating chamber cooling mode is prevented to efficiently perform a cooling operation by effectively using the performance of the refrigerating chamber evaporator.
