PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an ion exchange resin for refining a hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution. SOLUTION: The method for preparing the hydrogencarbonate type anion exchange resin includes a process (1) for conditioning the anion exchange resin by a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution to convert the same to a hydroxyl group type, a process (2) for preparing the hydroxyl group type anion exchange resin by a sulfuric acid aqueous solution to convert the same to a hydrogen sulfate type and a process (3) for preparing the hydrogen sulfate type anion exchange resin by a sodium hydrogencarbonate aqueous solution to convert the same to a hydrogencarbonate type. The total amount of chlorine and chloride ions in the sodium hydrogencarbonate aqueous solution used in the process (3) is set to below 1/10,000 of the weight of sodium hydrogencarbonate. |
