A system, method, and computer program product for transferring monitoring information from a remote monitor (266,272,282) to a central monitor (254) responsible for monitoring devices on multiple networks. In a monitoring system for network devices is disclosed. A communication link is established between a remote monitor and a message transfer server (943).
