PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container whose hinge part with a reinforcing structure for a hinge pin made of synthetic resin is made easily assembled and strongly reinforced. SOLUTION: This compact container is equipped with a container body 1 with hinge projecting parts 3, 3 to the body side to constitute a recess part 2 at the rear end and a lid body 20 suspending a hinge projecting part 21 to the lid body side to be fit into the recess part 2 on the rear end part. The hinge projecting parts 3, 3 to the body side and the hinge projecting part 21 to the lid body side are rotatably hinged together by inserting a hinge pin 40 made of synthetic resin. Cylindrical projections 26 with pin hole 27 are projected from both outsides of the hinge projecting part 21 and a reinforcing wall 9 sliding on the outer periphery faces of the cylindrical projections 26 is equipped at least under the rear opening end of the recess part 2.
