The block has an outer contour formed by several imaginary hexagonal shapes. It has a central regular hexagonal section (1) with three connected similar side sections (2,3,4), each of which is connected to every second of the side edges of the central hexagon. All side edges of all sections are of the same length, and all sections are formed integrally into a modular unit. Each section has a central aperture (5), which is pref. circular or hexagonal. All sections have water guide channels. The blocks are used to fasten embankments, and pref. the bottom of water storage ponds, or laid to have grass grow through.
