The tapered hopper (10) is larger at the top than at the bottom, while the tapered screw (20) is large at the top and small at the bottom. In plan view the hopper consists of two semicircular ends joined by short straight sides. The hopper has two carrying wheels (12) side-by-side near the center of the hopper as seen from the side. Two short screw conveyers (40) under the hopper may discharge material to either side.
