PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displaying material capable of simply displaying the hysteresis of a temperature at which articles are preserved, and in particular, provide a displaying material which can freely and easily sets a prescribed temperature value, can simply provide a timing to start extinguishing color, can form an image state (information of character and image) from displaying information, has the resistance to pressure when preserved and used, eliminates the need for preserving and holding in a dark space, and can changes the degree of the extinguished color in accordance with such a condition in which the holding process is carried out even at a temperature higher or lower than a prescribed temperature value on the way. SOLUTION: The temperature hysteresis displaying material has a layer including at least a coloring component and liquid component extinguishing color on a support body. The liquid component extinguishing color is included in a thickener or resin and encapsulated in a microcapsule made of a thermal melting or thermoplastic material. The wall of the microcapsule is melted or softened by heat, and the liquid component extinguishing color is externally flowed out.
