PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily and rapidly performable a fault diagnosis in a fault diagnosis processing procedure without looking at manuals or the like. SOLUTION: The apparatus for diagnosing vehicle utilizes the constitution of a car navigation device 1. A computing and controlling device 2 reads a diagnosis program stored in a recording medium 9 for diagnosis processing procedure with a drive assembly 7 for map data storage medium. Further, the device 2 reads signals in an operational state, which are generated in an audio device 10, an air conditioner 11 or the like, and then performs diagnosis. Diagnosis procedure advances in the computing and controlling device 2 through communication with operators when the diagnosis processing is performed interactively. A display device 5 and a switch input device 5, and further a voice input/output device 3 capable of performing input/output operations by voice and a voice recognition device 4 are utilized as an input/output device. |
