COLORLESS TONER FORMULATED TO IMPROVE LIGHT RESISTANCE OF INK JET INK PRINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating of a toner base particularly formulated to improve the light fastness of ink jet ink after printing of characters or image on a substrate. SOLUTION: This colorless toner composition is used for over coating of a print having the ink jet ink image. The colorless toners can contain a toner resin and at least two additives selected from the group consisting of a UV absorber, radical suppressing agent, thermal stabilizer and their combinations. The ratio of the toner resin to all of the additives is 1:1 to 99:1. The colorless toner can contain a charge control agent and/or low melting wax.
