PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing container which packs merchandise being assembled in its stipulated standard box shape, can be made small in size after unpacking and taking out the merchandise, and is used repeatedly. SOLUTION: This packing container using a light and strong material is provided, in a connected condition, with a side face part 2, a side face part 3, a side face part 4 and a side face 5B connected to a bottom 1 through a connecting part 14 which can operate the parts, a side face 5A connected to the side face 5B through a connecting part 14 which can operate both parts 5A and 5B, and a top cover 6 connected to the side face 5A through a connecting part 14 which can operate both parts 6 and 5A. In order to make it in a standard box shape, after the side faces are opened and assembled one after another from the bottom 1, the top cover 6 is fixed by a covering fixing lock 15 In order to make it small in seize, the fixing lock 15 is released, the top cover 6 is opened for disassembling and storing in the inside of the bottom 1 the side faces one after another to be covered by the top cover 6. Because each side face is stored in the bottom 1, the entire height of the container is the total of the height of the bottom and that of the top cover 6, and the container is now small in size.
