PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for a tubular printing medium on which a character printed at an early stage is not dented. SOLUTION: The tubular printing medium is depressed by a thermal head 6 and at the same time the tubular printing medium is conveyed in empty by the tubular printing medium conveyance means, and printing starts at the point of time when this empty conveyance is performed for a prescribed distance. |
