PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive self-luminous traffic sign having a visual guidance function and capable of informing a driver during driving of a freezing condition of a road surface easily, dispensing with maintenance, and being installed in any place. SOLUTION: This self-luminous sign is installed on a road and is provided with at least a solar battery 11, an electricity storage device 2 storing electric power outputted form the solar battery 11, a light emitting body 6 emitting light for the driver in the daytime and at night or during the nighttime by electric power of the solar battery 11 or the electricity storage device 2, a temperature sensor 4 detecting a road surface temperature, and a control part 5 controlling the light emitting body when the temperature sensor 4 detects a predetermined temperature. In particular, when the temperature sensor 4 detects a temperature indicating freezing of the road surface, light emitting color of the light emitting body 5 is changed into another color by the control part 5. |
