Process for welding elements to a workpiece comprises igniting light arc independently of the workpiece of the parts to be welded, between welding element and workpiece. Distance between element and workpiece is up to 1mm. The light arc by-passes the ionized path after ignition. The element is then added to a melting bath while maintaining the current flow at the end of the melting phase. |
