PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate structural directivity due to the plain shape of a core wall. SOLUTION: A high-rise or ultra-high-rise multiple dwelling building comprises a core wall 1 provided at its center and an outer peripheral frame 4 provided on its outer periphery, with a flat floor structure formed between the core wall 1 and the frame 4. A shared corridor 8 is provided on the outside of the core wall 1 and a dwelling-unit zone 5 is provided on the outside of the corridor. Columns 9 are provided in positions at the boundary between the corridor 8 and the zone 5, and boundary beams 11 are extended between the columns 9 and the core wall 1. Flat beams are employed as the boundary beams 11. The ends of each boundary beam 11 are formed as plastic hinges.
