PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To independently carry out curving adjustment and inclination adjustment of a long length light transmitting element. SOLUTION: In the device, the long length light transmitting element 12 installed in an optical path of an optical beam scanning a photosensitive body of an image forming means is installed inside a box bodies 19 and 20 with a gap between box bodies and a sub scanning surface of the element 12. A ball 25 to make a curve with a multiple number of supporting points 23 as supporting points that is installed on the axis in the lengthwise direction of the element, a taper screw 27, a roll 22 to impart an inclination to the element on one edge part in the lengthwise direction of the element against the sub scanning direction, a slide adjusting plate 33 and a spring 37 are provided.
