PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connection head structure of a high pressure fuel injection pipe, which can prevent crash or deformation of the connection head caused by axial force accompanied by tightening force of a nut, can relieve stress concentration on an under head portion of the connection head, and is excellent in durability and vibration fatigue resistance. SOLUTION: In the connection head structure, the connection head is formed at a connection end portion of a thick steel pipe having a relatively small diameter, and then a ring washer or a sleeve washer is press-fitted to a back face of the head. On a back face of the ring washer or sleeve washer, a bite type ring, which is deformed to bite into an outer surface of the fuel injection pipe by the axial force from the tightening nut, is disposed integrally with or separately from the ring washer or sleeve washer. |
