PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder and a recording method capable of rapidly and properly compensating declination of an image recording position caused by a behavior of a recording sheet when a back end of the recording sheet passes through a pair of rollers of a feeding means. SOLUTION: A recording means for making a record on a recording medium, and the feeding means for feeding the recording medium in such a way that the pair of the rollers opposite to each other nip and rotate the recording medium are provided.
