PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin plate cleaner that has a continuously sharp cutting edge, excels in grinding efficiency and wear resistance, and can peel a deposit on a target without damaging the target and with ease and slight force. SOLUTION: The thin plate cleaner 1 comprises a platelike member 2 of an inorganic fiber system abrasive for peeling a deposit on a target surface, and a grip member 4 for sandwiching the platelike member 2 integrally.
