PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital phase detection device that can conduct very accurate phase detection, even if the frequency stability of reference signal sources and local oscillators is relatively low. SOLUTION: The device is provided with: a reference signal generation means 11, which generates reference signals; a timing signal generation means 18, which generates timing signals of which the phase is synchronized with the one of these reference signals; a quantization means 14, which quantizes the received signals and the reference signals by a timing based on the timing signals and outputs the quantized received signals and the quantized reference signals; and a phase detection means 16, which detects phase difference between the quantized received signals and the quantized reference signals by digital computation processing.
