PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a leadless electrodeposition coating composition comprising an organic acid salt of cerium having excellent stability in an aqueous liquid and capable of providing a film having excellent corrosion resistance over a long period. SOLUTION: This leadless cationic electrodeposition coating composition comprises a combination of >=2 kinds of different cerium (III) hydroxycarboxylates as a corrosion resistance improving agent in an amount so as to provide 0.005-0.5 wt.% cerium concentration in the coating expressed in terms of metal.
