PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion casting material that emits uniformly mixed colors and can produce a large amount of electroluminescent elements with satisfactorily reproducible device characteristics in an applicable technical cost. SOLUTION: In a wavelength conversion casting material for electroluminescent elements that is composed of a clear epoxy casting resin to which a luminescent material is admixed as a base material and is used for electroluminescent elements equipped with the LED chips emitting ultraviolet rays, blue and/or green light, a powder of inorganic luminescent pigments including luminescent pigments 6 selected from the group of fluorescent substances represented by general formula A3 B5 X12 :M (wherein A is Y, Gd or Lu; B is Al or Ga; X is O; M is Ce<3+> , Tb<3+> , Eu<3+> , Cr<3+> , Nd<3+> or Er<3+> ) composition represented is dispersed in the clear epoxy casting resin and the iron content is characteristically <=5 ppm in the light-emitting pigment powder.
