PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester produced by using a novel polyester- polymerization catalyst other than an antimony compound. SOLUTION: The polyester comprises having a repeating unit composed of 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and glycol by 85-100 mol%, wherein the polyester is synthesized by a catalyst containing at least one of aluminum and an aluminium compound together with a phenolic compound. |
