PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase resistances among reference voltages without increasing resistances among reference voltages and signal lines. SOLUTION: Thin film transistors 26, 27 which are specified by the gradation signal inputted to control circuits 24, 25 are brought into conduction and resistive elements indicating values of resistivity at the time when transistors which are turned ON are brought into conduction are inserted between one of reference voltages V0 , V2 , V4 and an output terminal T1 or between either of reference voltages V1 , V3 and an output terminal T2 and also a pair of thin film transistors 29 of a sampling circuit 23 is simultaneously brought into conduction in synchronization with the gradation signal and when a signal line SL1 is selected, voltages which are obtained by dividing one of reference voltages V0 , V2 , V4 or either of reference voltages V1 , V3 by the values of resistivity at the time when the transistors which are turned ON are brought into conduction while making the contact point between the sampling circuit 23 and the signal line SL1 a voltage dividing point are applied to the signal line SL1.
