PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tape optical fiber cord having an optical fiber array capable of avoiding the generation of a local micro bend. SOLUTION: In the tape optical fiber cord 201 having the optical fiber array, a half pitch fiber array 202 which is connected to an optical waveguide not shown in Figure is arranged at one end of the cord, and connectors 2121 -21248 are connected to connector side optical fibers 2111 -21148 of the other end. Also, a branching case 207 which branches the connector side optical fibers 2111 -21148 is arranged in mid-way of the code. A two-row and two-stage tape fiber 203 one end of which is fixed to the half pitch fiber array 202 is fixed by the fixing part 208 within the branching case 207. The connector side optical fibers 2111 -21148 are separated into the optical fiber of one each in the intermediate position thereof, and the outside is covered by a protective tube 214 with a margin of size.
