<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which uniformity of gob loading into a blank mold in a mechanical section is improved and quality and productivity of the whole glass product forming system is improved, and also provide a device using the same. SOLUTION: The glass product forming system comprises a glass product forming machine of a discrete section type having a plurality of sections equipped with at least one blank mold (20, 22, 24), and a gob distributor (12) for distributing molten glass gobs to successive blank molds of each mechanical section. The molten glass gobs flow through deflectors (14, 16, 18) and are fed to the respective blank molds of each section. At least one liquid coolant path is joined to each deflector and several coolant paths are connected in parallel between a coolant source manifold (36) and a return manifold (38).</p> |
